Women’s Health Service and Leadership Award
The recipient will be a third-year resident at one of the Cleveland, Akron or Canton OB/GYN programs, chosen by the CLEsog Executive Committee based on the nomination and application submitted.
What is the award? The award consists of a certificate and $500.
How is the award decided? The CLEsog executive committee will review all applications and choose the recipient based on the greatest commitment to women’s health, leadership in the field, and the anticipation of a successful future in obstetrics and gynecology.
Who is eligible? Any OB/GYN resident in the local programs who will be graduating in 2026 and whose faculty are active members of the Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists may be nominated/apply for this award.
When is the application due? Supporting materials must be received by Pat Wolf, administrator for the Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, at [email protected] by March 31, 2025.
How do you apply? Submissions should be sent electronically to Pat Wolf, administrator for the Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Application for the award requires a brief personal statement indicating why you should be considered, two letters of recommendation including one from your program director, and a CV that lists any jobs, experiences, awards, honors, and research, particularly as they relate to women’s health. Other supporting materials will be accepted.
When is it awarded? The award will be announced at the CLEsog educational meeting that coincides with resident research day. All residents who have applied should try to attend the meeting, as the recipient will be called up to receive the award when announced.
